Anne Banks has been an engaged and active member of the Gainesville community since 2004. She is compassionate and detail oriented, skills honed by her engineering and medical research experience, as well as her volunteer leadership on numerous PTAs and continued involvement in Scouting.

With their two children, Anne moved to Gainesville when her husband, Scott, joined the faculty at the University of Florida. Anne has a bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, a Master's in Systems Engineering from Boston University, and greater than 20 years' experience in the biomedical research enterprise. Both of Anne's children have education-related graduate degrees and careers.
